1. Communicate and work closely with contractors and internal teams in site safety, construction schedules, workplace safety, environmental and waste management.
2. Coordinate the overall negotiation process, including negotiation and closing of deals with contractors.
3. Monitor machine and equipment installation and ensure specifications of the equipment comply with quality standards and agreement.
4. Monitor delivery status of equipment and ensure installation is within timeline, budget and project schedule.
5. Work closely with construction team and related departments on the placement of equipment, supply storage, etc.
. Manage the overall performance of the project team and provide training and development on work and safety procedures/guidelines.
7. Assist in the development, review, and update of site safety and health analysis and ensure that all safety, environmental and quality policies and practices are understood and complied by contractors
8. Supervise site engineers to ensure efficient and smooth construction operation, including construction scheduling, coordination and throughput monitoring.
9. Provide reliability input into maintenance procedures, standards and specifications.
10. Participate in technical investigations, studies, problem review, new and proposed equipment, materials, processes and facilities and provide sound engineering evaluations and recommendations for proposed actions.
11. Perform other related duties as assigned.
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, MEP engineering or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project.
3. In-depth knowledge and understanding of construction materials, structural projects, etc.
4. Knowledge of construction methods and strategies.
5. Knowledge of project management and risk management.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally with contractors, customers, managers and employees at all level.
7. Ability to identify risks and mitigate forthcoming conflicts or unacceptable business outcomes.
8. Ability to think creatively, innovatively and strategically.
9. Strong analytical, planning and organizing skills.
