responsibilities

1. Oversee day-to-day finance operation and responsible for ensuring the financial health of the organization.

2. Oversee the development of the finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.

3. Collect, interpret and review financial information.

4. Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends and assessing the financial health of the company.

5. Analyze and studies market trends and section-specific data to maximize profits and growth.

6. Report to management and provide advice how the company and future business decisions might be impacted.

7. Prepare periodic financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.

8. Reviewing, monitoring and managing budgets.

9. Monitoring cash flow of the organization to ensure sufficient funds are available to meet cash flow needs.

10. Ensure proper accounting records, bookkeeping records, are kept in compliance with statutory requirements, accounting standards and financial policies.

11. Develop long-term business plans based on the financial reports.

12. Develop strategies that work to minimize financial risk.

13. Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.

14. Liase with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.

qualifications

1. Bachelor/ MA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.

2. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Professional Accountant (CPA).

3. Fully qualify accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).

4. At least 7 years’ experience in finance manager role.

5. Excellent written and verbal English.

6. Strong analytical skills.

7. Proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting.

8. Good knowledge of using Financial Software (E.g.: QuickBooks, Oracle)

9. Managing, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.

10. Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.

11. A good working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.

12. Experience running annual audit.
