Coordinate with other professionals, such as contractors, architects, and engineers, to ensure job success.
Inspecting and supervising the installation of MEP systems to ensure they are installed correctly and functioning optimally.
Direct, monitor, and control the activities of the MEP Subcontractor.
Assist in the testing and commissioning of MEP equipment.
Ensure that MEP Subcontractors adhere to Project safety regulations.
Understanding and carrying out all tasks given by the Manager in charge.
Familiarize and implement the procedures as stated in the PM Manual.
Project monitoring in strategically manner.
Generate brief programmed with PM and meet project deadlines.
Good at design of MEP and technical installation, as well as proper sequence of works.
Full knowledge of MEP equipment and materials.
Familiar with MEP costing.
Understand proper standard of design and local practice.
Promote energy efficiency and other sustainability issues.
Ensure that all building services meet HSE requirements & local authority regulations.
Liaise with service engineers & technicians, surveyors, architectural technologists and other construction professionals.
Prepare reports, drawings and technical specifications.
Carry out tests on systems and make changes to plans where necessary.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Other jobs as required by Project Manager.
qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in MEP Engineering.
Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in similar position.
Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems
Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers,voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints
Must possess exceptional organizational and time management skills with anobsessive attention to detail
Must have experience leading teams of individuals from a variety of differentbackgrounds and disciplines.
