Paragon University Student Wins Top Prize at Our Bus Stop Competition

On July 13, 2024, Y Chhe Group, in partnership with TK Central, Klatform, and AxTe, concluded the thrilling 'Our Bus Stop' competition. This innovative challenge invited students from across Cambodia to reimagine a new Bus Stops in Phnom Penh. With 56 impressive submissions from universities nationwide, the competition sparked tremendous interest and creativity within the design community.

The competition, which ran from April 22 to July 13, 2024, highlighted a range of creative ideas, featuring everything from cutting-edge concepts to practical solutions for urban design. After a thorough evaluation process, including a dynamic exhibition and compelling final presentations, Mr. Kaing Thanaroth emerged as the top contender with his groundbreaking design. His concept stood out for its remarkable blend of creativity and functionality, offering innovative solutions to enhance urban mobility.

“Our Bus Stop” competition was more than just a celebration of creativity; it was a platform for young architects and designers to propose ideas that could transform Phnom Penh’s urban landscape. Mr. Kaing’s win not only highlights his exceptional talent but also underscores the potential for fresh perspectives to drive the future of urban design.
